International seminars with guest speakers to share information on the gender situation around the world and the promotion of gender equality in research and educational institutions.

❖ Special Seminar: Frontiers of Gender Studies in Asia
International seminars with guest speakers to touch the forefront of gender studies in various parts of Asia.


Various Support

・Providing childcare services during events organized by CSEAS
・Maintaining rest space for staff who are pregnant or raising children, and their children
・In recruiting, women are encouraged to apply for positions

Multipurpose Rest Space

There is a multi-purpose rest space (tatami room) in the utility room on the first floor of the East Building.

❖ You can use the sofa with the curtain closed while nursing or resting.
❖ Picture books and CDs are available for small children.
❖ The room is equipped with “ziaino” (Hypochlorous Acid Space Disinfecting Deodorizer).
❖ There is a diaper-changing table in the restroom on the first floor of the east building.
