To identify the significance of the area built by Tibeto-Burma lanugage group people considering the area of Bangladesh,North-east India, Myanmar and Laos in one monsoon area on the periphery of the Bengal Bay

I have conducted the field work on Locally Existing Technologies” such as SOKSHING( Fallen Broad Leaf Forest) in Bhutan and Rice- Black Gram Cultivation in Myanmar. These consultations have not well been reported in the Academic Societies in Japan. Therefore the academic achievement can be significantly recognized.

The study tour to understand the role of State Universities in USA for rural development has been conducted by the team consisted of Myanmar professionals ( Yezin Univ.3 members) , Bhutan ( Sherubtse College 2 members) and Japanese (CSEAS 2 members, Nagoya Univ. 1 member) , visiting Cornell Univ and Michigan State Univ, USA in Sep. 2019.

I have tried to develop the Pracitice-oriented Area Studies’ methodologies through Participatory Rural Appraisal with the students of ILAS filed class, Kyoto Univ and teachers & junior research fellows from Bhutan and Myanmar in Bhutan, Miyazu City and Nantan-Miyama, Japan and also Partipatory Rural Development Practice at the Okawa Revitalization project in Misaki, Moriyama City, Shiga Pref.
